Use #4 needles, cast on 58 [60,62,64] sts.

Use #6 needles, cast on 6 sts & work in garter st, sl 1st st of every row until sufficient length to fit up front to centre back neck. Cast off.

SLEEVE BORDERS [MAKE 2]:
Work as front borders to fit around sleeve edges.

Join ends of front borders, fit to front & neck edges & sew in place.

Join ends of sleeve borders & attach to sleeves.
Turn to inside & sl st lightly in place.
Turn back lower edge of fronts & sew in place to form
pockets as shown.
CAP:
Use #4 needles, cast on 72 sts & work in patt, same as back of jacket for approx 30cm [12”], end with 4th patt row.

SHAPE CROWN:
1ST ROW: Sl 1, K 1, * K 2 tog, K 2, rep from * to last 2 sts, K 2 tog – [54 sts].

2ND ROW: Sl 1, P to last st, K 1.
3RD ROW: Sl 1, * P 2 tog, P 1, rep from * to
last 2 sts, K 2 tog – [36 sts].
4TH ROW: Sl 1, K to end.
5TH ROW: Sl 1, [P 2 tog] 17 times, K 1.
6TH ROW: Sl 1, P to last st, K 1.
7TH ROW: Sl 1, [K 2 tog] 9 times – [10 sts].
Break off yarn, thread end thru rem sts, fasten off
securely.
Sew up seam & roll back to form neat roll.
