Directions are for Size 10.
Changes for Sizes 12, 14, 16 & 18 are in parentheses.

GAUGE:
11 sts = 2”
15 rows = 2”

MEASUREMENTS:
Length Hem to shoulder 36”(36¼”-36½”-36¾”-37”)
Width across hipline 18¼”(19”-20”-21”-22”)
Width across back 17¼”(18”-19”-19¾”-21”)
Width across shoulders 13¼”(13¾”-14”-14¼” -14¾”)
Width across sleeve 12”(12¼”-12¾”-13”-13¼”)

STRIPE PATTERN:
Work in St St, start with K row as follows:

4 rows of B, 2 rows of C, 2 rows of A, 2 rows of C, 4 rows of B, 6 rows of A, 2 rows of C, 4 rows of A, 2 rows of C, 4 rows of A, 2 rows of C, 6 rows of A.

Rep these 40 rows for stripe patt.

BACK:
With Color B - cast on 113(117-123-127-133).

K 1 row and P 1 row for 5 rows.

K next P row for turn.

Cont in St St follow stripe patt to 3½” above turn.

Dec 1 each side on next row, then every 2” 5 times more.

Width across hipline is 18¼”(19”-20”-21”-22”).

Cont stripes dec 1 each side every 2¾” 3 times.

Work on 95(99-105-109-115) until 2 rows of 12th B stripe have been compl.

Length above turn is about 28”.

Width across back is 17¼”(18”-19”-19¾”-21”).

ARMHOLES:
Bind off 3(3-3-4-4) at beg of next 2 rows. This completes last B stripe.

Cont St St work in YOKE STRIPE PATT of 6 rows of A & 2 rows of C, & AT SAME TIME, dec 1 each side EVERY row 3(3-5-5-7) times, then every other row 5 (6-6-6-6) times.

Work on 73(75-77-79-81) sts to 6¾”(7”-7¼”-7½”-7¾”) straight above underarm, end on right side.

Width across shoulders is 13¼”(13¾”-14”-14¼” -14¾”).

NECK & SHOULDERS:
Work 22(22-23-23-24) & sl them to holder, work center 29(31-31-33-33) & sl them to 2nd holder for neck, work to end.

Bind off 2 at neck twice, & AT SAME TIME bind off 6 sts at armhole edge 3(3-2-2-2) times.

Then ON SIZES 14(16-18) ONLY bind off 7(7-8) at same edge once.

Work other side to corres.

FRONT:
Work same as back to 4¼”(4½”- 4¾”-5”-5¼”) above underarm, end on right side.

NECK:
Work 28(28-29-29-30) & sl them to holder, work center 17(19-19-21-21) & sl them to 2nd holder, work to end.

Bind off 2 at neck edge 5 times.

Work on 18(18-19-19-20) sts until armhole matches back armhole.

SHOULDER:
Bind off 6 sts at armhole edge 3(3-2-2-2) times.

Then ON SIZES 14(16-18) ONLY bind off 7(7-8) at same edge once.

Work other side to correspond.

SLEEVES:
With A - cast on 66(68-70-72-74).

K 1 row & P 1 row for 5 rows.

K next P row for turn.

Work in yoke stripe patt as on back to 3” above turn, end with 6th row of A stripe.

Width across sleeve is 12”(12¼”-12¾”-13”-13¼”).

SLEEVE CAP:
Bind off 3 at beg of next 2 rows.

Dec 1 each side every other row until 26 sts rem.

Bind off 2 at beg of next 4 rows.

Bind off rem 18 sts.

Sew left shoulder seam.

NECKBAND:
On wrong side with A - pick up & K 91(95-95-99-99) around neck incl holders.

P 1 row & K 1 row for 6 rows, inc 6 sts evenly spaced across last row.

P 1 row & K 1 row on 97(101-101-105-105) sts for 6 rows.

Break off A & attach C.

P 1 row. Bind off loosely.

FINISHING:
Sew right shoulder seam.

Sew in sleeves matching stripes.

Seam underarm and sleeves.

Turn up hems and sew in place.

Turn neckband to right side & sew in place with Color C.
