Cast
on 15 sts, work patt for 30 rows. Bind
off.
FINISHING:
Cover
2 ¼” buttonmold or button.
Pin
out & steam to measurements.
Fold
bag leaving 3 ½” from bound-off edge free for flap.
Sew
side seams.
From
right side, work 1 row sc around 3 sides of flap, keeping an even edge.
Work
1 row sc across top edge.
Line
bag.
Ch
16 for button loop, fasten at center of flap.
Sew
on button.

LINING NOTES:
Make
paper patt for each crocheted piece before joinings & lay aside to be used
later.
Cut
lining according to paper patts & sew tog.
Shirr
lining bag form to correspond with crocheted bag.
Insert
finished lining in bag.
Sew
in zipper [if desired].
Note:
Cardboard or lightweight plastic may be inserted
between bag & lining to give shape of bag extra support.
