Ch
4 sts.
1ST
ROW: Work 1 sc in first 2 sts of ch, 4
sc in next st, then work 1 sc in 2 ch sts other side of ch. Ch 1, turn.
2ND
ROW: Work 1 sc in each of next 3 sts,
take back loop of st, 2 sc in each of next 2 sts, 1 sc in next 3 sts, ch 1,
turn.
3RD
ROW: Work 1 sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in
each of next 2 sts, 1 sc in each of next 4 sts, ch 1, turn.
Cont
to inc in this way until there are 20 sts either side of inc sts, then ch 4,
turn.
1ST
ROW: * 2 Trc, ch 2, 2 trc, in 2nd
sc, sk 1 st, 1 trc in next st, * rep bet * across row, end row with shell, ch
4, turn.
2ND
ROW: * 3 Trc, ch 2, 3 trc in ch 2 of
prev row, 1 trc around back of post of trc of prev row, ch 4, turn.
3RD
ROW: Same as 2nd row, with
exception that trc is worked around front of post of trc of prev row, ch 4,

row, 1 trc around back of post of trc of prev row, ch 4, turn.

ROW: Same as 4th row, with

FINISHING:
Make
paper patt for each crocheted piece & lay aside to be used later.
Cut
lining according to paper patts & sew tog.
Shirr
lining bag form to correspond with crocheted bag.
Join
crocheted pieces with 1 row of sc around fan part of bag, leaving opening for
zipper.
Insert
finished lining in bag.
Sew
in zipper.
Attach
Handles.
Note:
Cardboard or lightweight plastic may be inserted between
bag & lining to give shape of bag extra support.
