Quick & easy to crochet this lovely blouse in lacy pattern…smart & stylish lines of contrasting collar & cuffs…season-spanning, wardrobe favorite…perfect for many occasions!

MATERIALS: 
J & P Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen, 7 balls Yellow, 2 balls Burnt Orange
#6 Steel Crochet Hook
2 Buttons for Collar

BACK: 
With Yellow, ch 151.

1ST ROW:  1 Sc in 2nd ch from hook, & in each st of foundation ch.  Ch 1, turn.

2ND ROW:  1 Sc in each sc, ch 1, turn.

3RD, 4TH & 5TH ROWS:  Rep 2nd row.  At end of 5th row, ch 5, turn.

1ST ROW LACE PATT:  * Sk 3 sts, 1 dc in next st, 1 sc in same st, ch 3, rep from * across, end with 1 dc in last st [omit last sc], ch 5, turn.  35 patts in row.

2ND ROW:  * Sk ch 3 & sc of prev row, 1 dc & sc into dc, ch 3, rep from * across, end with 1 dc in 3rd st of turning ch, ch 5, turn.  [This 2nd row is patt row.]

3RD THRU 7TH ROWS:  Rep 2nd row, make ch 3 instead of ch 5 at end of 7th row.

8TH ROW:  Work 34 patts, dc & sc in last dc, 1 dc in 3rd st of turning ch, ch 3, turn.

9TH ROW:  Sk 1st dc & sc, 1 dc in next dc, ch 3, [33 patts], 1 dc in last dc, 1 dc in next st of turning ch, ch 5, turn.

10TH ROW:  Sk first 2 dc, patt across, end with dc in last dc, dc in next st of turning ch, ch 5, turn.  [1 patt has been dec on each side.]

11TH THRU 15TH ROWS:  Work in patt without dec.

16TH & 17TH ROWS:  Dec 1 patt on each side, same as 9th & 10th rows.
  
18TH THRU 31ST ROWS:  Work evenly in patt, then inc 1 patt on each side as follows:

32ND ROW:  1 Dc in first dc, ch 3, patt across, 2 dc in 3rd st of turning ch, ch 5, turn.

33RD ROW:  1 Dc & sc in 2nd dc, ch 3, patt across, end with 1 dc & 1 sc in last dc, 1 dc in 3rd st of turning ch, ch 5, turn.

34TH THRU 41ST ROWS:  Work evenly in patt.

42ND & 43RD ROWS:  Inc 1 patt each side same as 32nd & 33rd rows.

44TH THRU 68TH ROWS:  Work patt evenly, omit turning ch at end of 68th row.  Piece should now meas approx 15”.

69TH ROW:  [ARMHOLE]:  Sl st 1 patt, sl st to next dc, ch 3, 30 patts across, dc & sc in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, ch 5, turn.

70TH ROW:  Work 30 patts across, dc & sc in last dc, 1 dc in next st of turning ch, ch 5, turn.

71ST THRU 84TH ROWS:  Work evenly in patt.

85TH ROW:  Work 15 patts, 1 dc in next dc, ch 5, turn. 

Work on these 15 patts for 10 more rows, end at neck edge. 

Shape shoulder by working 11 patts, 1 dc & sc in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, turn.  Sl st 2 patts, & sl st to next dc, ch 3, 3 patts, 1 dc & sc in next dc, ch 3, turn.  Dc into first dc, ch 3, dc & sc into next dc, dc in next dc, break thread.  Attach thread in same center dc already worked, ch 5, & work left side to correspond.

FRONT: 
Ch 167.

1ST ROW:  Beg in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each st of foundation ch.  

Work same as back, having 41 patts instead of 35, make same decs & incs, up to 69th row [armhole].

69TH ROW:  Sl st 2 patts, work 35 patts, 1 dc & sc in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, turn.

70TH ROW.  Work 33 patts, 1 dc & sc in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, ch 5, turn.

71ST ROW:  Work 32 patts, dc & sc in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, ch 5, turn.

72ND THRU 87TH ROWS:  Work evenly in patt.

88TH ROW:  Work 12 patts, 1 dc & sc in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, ch 3, turn.

89TH ROW:  Patt across, ch 5, turn. 

Rep last 2 rows for 3 times [30 patts across].  In next row work 10 patts, 1 dc in turning ch, ch 5, turn. 

Work 2 rows even, end at neck edge.

Shape shoulder by working 6 patts, 1 dc & sc in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, turn.  Sl st 2 patts, sl st to next dc, 1 dc in next dc, break thread. 

Work other side to correspond, leave 6 patts free in center.

SLEEVE: 
Ch 91.

1ST ROW:  Sk 5 sts, * 1 dc in next st, 1 sc in next st, ch 3, sk 2 sts, rep from * across, end with dc in last st, ch 5, turn.  [29 patts across.]

2ND THRU 55TH ROWS:  Work evenly in patt.

56TH ROW:  To shape top of sleeve, sl st 1 patt, work 25 patts, 1 dc & sc in next dc, dc in next dc, ch 5, turn.

57TH ROW:  Work 24 patts, 1 dc & sc in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, ch 5, turn.

58TH & 59TH ROWS:  Work 25 patts, 1 dc in turning ch, ch 3, turn.

60TH ROW:  Work patt to within 1 patt from end, dc & sc in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, ch 3, turn. 

Rep this row until there are 5 patts left, then work 1 row with 1 dc in each dc & ch-1 bet.  Break off.

CUFF: 
With Burnt Orange, ch 30.

1ST ROW:  1 Sc in 2nd ch from hook & 1 sc in each st of foundation ch.  Ch 1, turn.

2ND ROW:  1 Sc into back loop of each sc.  Ch 1, turn. 

Rep 2nd row until there are 71 ridges [2 rows form ridge.] 

Then turn & work 1 sc in each ridge along one long side. 

Then work another row of sc over sc on long side.

COLLAR: 
With Burnt Orange, ch 36.

1ST ROW:  1 Sc in 2nd ch from hook & 1 sc in each st of foundation ch.  Ch 1, turn. 

Work same as cuff until there are 103 ridges. 

Finish along one long side same as cuff.

BELT: 
With Yellow, ch 21.

1ST ROW:  Beg in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each st of foundation ch.  Ch 1, turn. 

Sc over sc for length desired [28”]. 

Fasten with 2 snappers.

FINISHING: 
Sew all tog, & place 1 button at neck edge, & 1 button at collar corner, with corresponding loops. 

Edges of collar & cuffs on which double rows of sc were made are sewed to blouse.
