FINISHING:
Before joining, cut linings & interlinings, following directions on kit.

Sew tog last row of shells of Front & Back pieces & sew tog across top edges of shell sections at both sides of bag.

Make outer lining & interlining [inner facing], & insert in crocheted bag, then attach clasp.

Make inner lining with zipper, then sew all linings into place.

NOTE:
If vintage lining kits are not available, you can create your own lining.

Select 1 lining material & 1 heavier weight interlining material [such as felt or buckram].

Before joining, using crocheted pieces, make paper patt for each crocheted piece & lay aside to be used later.

Cut lining according to paper patts & sew tog.

Shirr lining bag form to correspond with crocheted bag.

Insert finished lining in bag.

Note:
Cardboard or lightweight plastic may be inserted between bag & lining to give shape of bag extra support.

Enjoy!
