Vintage 1940s Stylish Quarter Moon Bag #307

Quick & easy to create, this delightful purse will become
a season-spanning favorite! 

MATERIALS: 
1 large spool  Guimp,
OR
Interchangeable with 4 spools Bagtwist, Plastic,
OR
6 oz Straw
#3 Bone Crochet Hook
Lining Material
2 Handles

ABBREVIATIONS:
BET                =  Between
CH                  =  Chain
REP                =  Repeat
SC                  =  Single Crochet
SK                   =  Skip
ST                   =  Stitch
TRC                =  Triple Crochet

BAG: 
Ch 12”. 

Work 1 row of sc, st for st, ch 1 turn.

* Work 1 sc & 1 trc in next st, sk 1 st, rep bet * across row, ch 1 turn.

Rep these 2 rows 2 more times, end with row of sc. 

Work 3 sc in each sc across row, ch 1 turn.

Work in sc, st for st for 26 rows.

Make other side to correspond.

Join on wrong side of bag with sc.

TABS FOR HANDLES: 
Ch 6, work in sc, st for st, for 2”. 

Make 4 pieces.

FINISHING: 
Cut lining, using crochet pieces as pattern. 

Insert lining in bag & sew in place. 

Attach tabs to Bag. 

Insert Handles.
