STITCHES:
Use Single Crochet, Double Crochet & Popcorn Stitch throughout.

POPCORN
STITCH:
Make 5 dc in same st, remove hk from lp, insert hk back into 1st st made & draw lp thru st on hk, ch 1 to hold st.

Wind
gimp 125 times around.
Tie
one end with extra piece of gimp.
Cut
tassel in center at bottom for fringe effect.
Remove
cardboard & tie same end of tassel with same piece of gimp.
Pull
gimp thru holder & attach tassel to center top of hat.
