Here’s
a tricky little hat that you’ll like with sport togs. It goes on easily…it’s simple to make and
always looks chic.
SIZE:
Headsize 22”

MATERIALS:
Bear Brand

Bucilla Tweed Yarn, 2 balls
Pair Bucilla Aluminum Knitting Needles #1, Art #3499
2 Small Pom-Pons

CAP:
Cast on 41 sts.
K
1, p 1, alternately, ending row with k1.
Rep
last row throughout hat, thus knitting p sts & purling k sts of row below
[seed or moss st].
Cont
to work in seed st until piece meas 19” from beg, or enough when slightly
stretched, to fit around head.
Bind
off, purling k sts & knitting p sts.
Fold
strip in half & sew tog on 2 sides [1 long & 1 short side].
Fold
down corners as shown in photo & tack.
Trim
with 2 small pom-pons as shown.
