turn.

st for st for 98 rows.
BOTTOM
OF BAG:
Ch
11 sts, 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook & in next 8 sts, 3 sc in next
st. Working on other side of ch, 1 sc in
each of next 9 sts, 3 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st
[center st], 1 sc in each of next 5 sts, 3 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 5 sts, 2
sc in next st, 1 sc in each of next 5 sts, 3 sc in corner st.
Cont
to work in this manner, always putting 3 sc in each corner & 2 sts in
center, until 10 rows in all have been made.
HANDLE:
Ch
8 sts, 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook & in each ch st [7 sc], ch 1,
turn.

Sc in each st for 84 rows [or desired length].
Work
French Knots around all 4 sides of handle.
TO
MAKE FRENCH KNOTS:

[loosely] draw 5th ch thru both loops. Rep from * around.
Join
bottom of bag tog with sc, right side facing you.
Join
handle to bag as shown in photo.

RND: * 1 Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st,
rep from * 5 more times.
2ND
RND: * 1 Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next
st, rep from * 5 more times.

RND: * 1 Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next
st, rep from * 5 more times.

to work in above manner having 1 st more bet incs every rnd until there are 90
sc.
Work
even until 24 rows in all have been made.
Inc
1 st in every other st for 1 rnd only.
LONG
& SHORT ROWS:

Sc in center 32 sts. Join with sl st,
