Vintage Shell Crocheted Cape #370

This is an elegant variation on the cape theme, with graduated shells & openwork.  The collar, yoke,& fringe are made in contrasting colors.  However, this cape would be equally lovely in one solid color with the design aspect solely on its pattern elements.  Attractive & suitable for many occasions, it can be made up very quickly.
