GLOVES:
LEFT HAND:
1ST TO 20TH ROWS: Ch 81 for wrist, join, ch 5, sk 3 sts, [forms opening for thumb] work sc in next st, rep until there are 20 lps, ch 5, sc in 1st lp & cont work until there are 20 rows of lps

21ST ROW:
Ch 30, sk 4 lps, sc in next lp, [forms opening for thumb], work row of

from * 4 times, ch 5, sc in next lp –21 lps in this row.
Work 8 more rows of lps & cont lps to left of thumb
opening.
FOREFINGER:
Fold work, having thumb opening at extreme left & work 1st finger directly over thumb. Work 3 lps over back of glove, ch 5, sc in 4th lp on palm side of glove, leave 6 free lps for finger, work 6 lps, ch 5 sc in center st of ch bet fingers, ch 5 sc in next free lp [7 lps].
Fold work, having thumb opening at extreme left & work 1st finger directly over thumb. Work 3 lps over back of glove, ch 5, sc in 4th lp on palm side of glove, leave 6 free lps for finger, work 6 lps, ch 5 sc in center st of ch bet fingers, ch 5 sc in next free lp [7 lps].
Cont working 5 ch lps until there are 8 rows for short
finger or 10 rows for long finger [this difference applies to all fingers],
then work 2 rows of 4 ch lps, 2 rows of 3 ch lps, 2 rows of 2 ch lps, ch 2, 1
dc in each lp, draw sts tog to close sp, fasten off.
MIDDLE FINGER:
Join thread to bottom of forefinger on back of glove, work 3 lps, ch 5, sc in 2nd free lp in palm side of glove, work 1 lp, ch 5, sc in 1st lp bet fingers, ch 5, sc in next lp bet fingers, ch 5, lp in each free lp, ch 5, sc in center st of ch bet fingers, ch 5, sc in next free lp [7 lps].

THUMB:
Join thread to lower right side of opening & work 12 lps, work 3 more rows of 12 lps each.

lps, sc in next lp, omit ch bet, rep from beg twice [dec 3 lps], work 1 row lps.

rows of 3 ch lps, 1 dc in each lp & finish off same as fingers.
CUFF:
1ST ROW: 4 Sc in each 3 ch lp.
1ST ROW: 4 Sc in each 3 ch lp.
2ND ROW:
Ch 5, sk 1 st, dc in next st & ch 2, sk 1 st, dc in next st, rep
from * to end of row, ch 2, join – 40 meshes.
3RD ROW:
Sl st to center of mesh, ch 4 * yo twice, insert in same sp, work off 2
lps twice, rep from * & work off rem lps on needle, ** ch 2, 1 trc in next
mesh, ch 2, 1 trc in same mesh, ch 2 yo twice, insert in next mesh, work off 2
lps twice, * yo twice, insert in same sp & work 2 lps twice, rep from *
& work off rem lps on hk, rep from ** to end of row, ch 2, join.
4TH ROW:
Sl st to mesh, ch 6, work petal in lp bet trc of prev row, ch 2 trc in
next lp, ch 2, trc in next lp, cont to end of row.
Rep last row twice & work 2 more rows with 3 chs bet
petals & trc.
Finish cuff with 2 rows of dc.
Make other glove to correspond; reverse position of thumb,
or work same as left glove to cuff, then turn work inside out. Work is same on both sides, then work cuff.
