STITCH:

Dc into 1 st, take lp off hk, insert hk into 1st group of 5 dc, pull
lp thru back of 5 dc & thru 1dc of group of 5.
SNOOD:
Ch
20”.
1ST
ROW: Sc into 8th st on ch, *
ch 5, sk 4 ch, sc into next. Rep from *
across row.
2ND
ROW: Ch 6, to turn, sc into 1st
sp & ch 5, sc into next sp, ch 2, popcorn in next sp, ch 2, sc into same
sp. Rep from * across row, end with ch
5, sc into each of last 2 sp.
3RD
ROW: Ch 6, to turn, sc into 1st
sp, * ch 5, sc into next sp made up of ch 5, ch 5, sc into back of popcorn st,
rep from * across row.
4TH
ROW: Ch 6 to turn, sc into 1st
sp, * ch 2, popcorn in next sp, ch 2 sc into same sp, ch 5, sc into next sp,
rep from * across row end, ch 5, sc into last sp.
5TH
ROW: Ch 6 to turn, sc into 1st
sp, * ch 5, sc into back of popcorn, ch 5, sc into next sp made up of ch 5 on
prev row, rep from * across.
Rep
2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th rows
alternately until you have 7 rows of popcorns.
NEXT
ROW: Ch 6 to turn, sc into 1st
sp, * ch 5, sc into next sp, rep from * across.
Rep
this last row 12 times more.
FINISHING:
Work
2 rows of sc around entire snood, taking it in to fit head.
Either
pull thru ribbon as shown in photo, or work 1 row of sc over tubular elastic.
