Collared Stole # 335
A clever needle worker
will quickly work up this stole into a classic, season-spanning wardrobe
favorite to keep or present as a welcome gift!

160 to meas about 70”, sc in 2nd st from hook, 1 sc in each rem st
of ch, turn.
2nd row:
Ch
4, yo, insert hook in 1st sc, pull up a 1 ¼” loop, yo, sk next sc,
insert hook in next st, pull up a loop the same length, yo & pull thru all
loops at one time [cluster], * ch 1, yo, insert in same sp as last st, pull up
1 1/4” loop, sk next sc, yo, insert hook in next sc, pull up a loop same
length, yo & work off all loops at one time, rep from * across row [79
clusters], ch 1, dc in last sc, ch 4, turn.
3rd row:
Work
a cluster by drawing up a 1 ¼” loop in top of each of next 2 clusters, yo &
work off all loops at one time, * ch 1, yo, draw up 1 ¼” loop in same sp as
last st, yo, draw up 1 ¼” loop in top of next cluster, yo & work off all
loops at one time, rep from * across row until 78 clusters have been completed,
ch 1, draw up a 1 ¼” loop in same sp as last st, sk 1 st of turning ch, draw up
1 ¼” loop in next st, yo & work off all loops at one time, ch 1, dc in same
sp as last st, ch 1, turn.
4th row:
Sc
in 1st dc, * sc in top of next cluster, sc in next ch 1 sp, rep from
* across row end with sc in 1st st of turning ch, ch 1, turn.
5th row:
1
Sc in each sc, turn.
Rep
the last 4 rows until stole meas 19” [or length desired] from beg, end with 4th
row of pat, cut yarn.
Work
row of sc across each short end.
Collar:
Ch
22, sc in 2nd st from hook, 1 sc in each rem st of ch, ch 4,
turn.
Rep
the 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th rows of
stole section until collar meas 23” from beg, end with 4th row of
pat [10 clusters each row = width of collar], cut yarn.
Work
a row of sc across 1 long edge of collar [outside edge].
Sew
collar to stole as shown in photo.
