Dec row: K 2 tog 18 times in
succession; 18 sts. P 1 row. Bind off.
Break
yarn leaving 12” end.
Run
end thru bound-off sts & draw up tightly.
Fasten off.
Draw
end thru cast-on sts in same way.
Finishing:
Cut 2 layers of cotton batting 5” wide & 36”long.

Fold
batting lengthwise.
Cut
ends rounded.
Place
batting on wrong side of collar at center & tack ends to collar with
matching sewing thread.
Weave
side edges of collar tog.
Sew
collar to neck edge with seam of collar at neck edge & ends of collar at
front edge.
