MEASUREMENTS:
Small Chest: 26” - 28”;
Medium Bust:  30” - 32”;
Large Bust:  34” - 36”

NOTE:
If Fuzzy-Wuzzy is being used, wind 2 balls tog to make double yarn in order to match the Canadiana in thickness.

Beg with collar, with desired yarn [Molana, single as usual or Fuzzy-Wuzzy, double as noted above] cast on 138 [154, 170] sts.

1ST ROW:  K 2, * p 2, k 2, rep from * to end of row.

2ND ROW:  p 2, * K 2, P 2, rep from * to end of row.

These 2 rows comp the k 2, p 2 rib as used thru out this garment.

There are 18 ][20, 22] rows in all, worked in the collar.

If you are making the striped collar, you work 2 rows with Fuzzy-Wuzzy & 2 rows with Canadiana, alternately until the req number  of rows have been worked for the size you are making.

When collar is compl, break Molana or Fuzzy-Wuzzy & cont with Canadiana:

NEXT ROW:
  * [K 2 tog] twice.  [p 2 tog] twice.  Rep from * to last 2 sts.  K 2. 70 [78, 86] sts on needle.

Beg with 2nd row of rib, work 3 rib rows in all.

Keep continuity of rib, cast on 8 [12, 12] sts, beg next 2 rows to beg sleeves.  86 [102, 110] sts on needle.

Cont even in rib until sleeve edge measures 10” [12”, 14”] end with 2nd rib row.

Keep continuity of rib, cast off 8 [12, 12] sts beg next 2 rows to compl sleeves.  70 [78, 86] sts on needle.

Rib 22 [24, 26] rows even.

Cast off loosely in rib.

The cast-off edge is lower edge of back.

Fold work in half so cast-off edge of back meets  cast-on edge of collar.

Sew each side seam by sewing side edges of knitting tog, then cast-on edge to cast-off edge of each sleeve.

To wear bolero, slip arms in sleeves & arrange collar as shown in photo.

ENJOY!
