1ST
ROW: From joining of last rnd, measure
off 5” towards left, attach thread at this point, & make 1 sc in each of
next 2 dc, 1 hdc in each of next 2 dc, dc in each dc to within 5” from join,
then 1 hdc in each of next 2 dc, 1 sc in each of next 2 dc, sl st in next
dc. Break off.
2ND
ROW: Attach thread to 1st dc
at beg of 1st row, 1 sc in each of next 2 dc, 1 hdc in each of next

& 1 sl st. Break off.
6TH
& 7TH ROWS: Same as 5th
row, but without incs. Break off.
To
make Brim stiff, work sc closely to all around edge of Brim, holding along wire
& working over it, so that it is completely covered.
Fasten
wire neatly at back & complete work with 1 rnd of sl sts.
CORD:
Hold
thread double, make ch approx 48”, turn & make sl st in each ch. Break off.
Pass
Cord thru 3rd row of Brim, pass under 2 dc & over 2 dc, etc,
& tie into bow at right front.
ENJOY!
