Infant’s 2-Piece Set Cozy Sweater & Bootees #B203

MATERIALS:
Cynthia Bay-Bee Yarn
OR
Cynthia Shetland Floss: 2 ozs Pink & 1 oz White
Bone Crochet Hook #4

GAUGE:
5 DC = 1”

SWEATER:
Beg at NECK with Pink, CH 47, turn.

1ST ROW: 1 DC in 4th CH from hk, 1 DC in each of next 3 sts (FRONT), 2 DC in next st, CH 2, 2 DC in next st, 1 DC in each of next 5 sts (SHOULDER), 2 DC in next st, CH 2, 2 DC in the next st, 1 DC in each of next 17 sts (BACK), 2 DC in next st, CH 2, 2 DC in next st, 1 DC in each of next 5 sts (SHOULDER), 2 DC in next st, CH 2, 2 DC in next st, 1 DC in each of next 5 sts (FRONT), CH 3, turn.

2ND & 3RD ROWS: * 1 DC in each DC, 2 DC in CH-2 sp, CH 2, 2 DC in same sp, rep from * across row, CH 3, turn.

4TH - 7TH ROWS INCL: * 1 DC in each DC, 1 DC in CH-2 sp, CH 1, 1 DC in same sp, rep from * across row.

8TH ROW: CH 3, DC in 1st st, * sk 1 DC, 1 DC in next st, CH 1, 1 DC in same st, rep from * across row, sk SLEEVE sts, CH 3, turn.

9TH - 15TH ROWS INCL: 1 DC in 1st CH-1 sp, sk 2 DC, * 1 DC in next CH-1 sp, CH 1, 1 DC in same sp, rep from * across row, CH 3, turn.

16TH - 18TH ROWS INCL: Tie in White, CH 3 & rep 9th row. Fasten off.

SLEEVES:
Tie in Pink at underarm & work 9 rows of patt.

10TH - 13TH ROWS INCL: 1 SC in each st.

14TH ROW: Work 1 row of patt.

15TH ROW: Tie in White & work 1 row of patt.

Work other SLEEVE to corres.

EDGING:
With White, work 4 rows DC on FRONT & NECK edge of sweater.

Turn back & em­broider flowers in Blue with Green Leaves, as pictured.
CORD:
With Pink, CH 40 & finish each end with small tassel of White.

BOOTEES:
With White, CH 12, 4 SC in 2nd st from hk, 1 SC in each of next 9 sts, 5 SC in last st, 1 SC in each st on opposite side of CH, join.

2ND ROW: CH 1, 1 SC in same st, 2 SC in each of next 3 SC, 1 SC in each of next 9 SC, 2 SC in each of next 4 SC, 1 SC in each rem SC, join.

3RD ROW: CH 1, 1 SC in same st, 2 SC in each of next 7 SC, 1 SC in each of next 9 SC, 2 SC in each of next 9 SC, 1 SC in each rem SC.

4TH - 9TH ROWS INCL: 1 SC in each SC.

10TH - 13TH ROWS INCL: Fold bootee lengthwise, 1 SC in each SC, dec 3 sts every row in center 12 sts until 34 sts re­m.

14TH ROW: Tie in Pink, work 1 SC in each SC.

15TH ROW: With White, work 1 SC in each SC.

16TH ROW: CH 4, 1 DC in same st, * sk 1 st, 1 DC in next st, CH 1, 1 DC in same st, rep from * around, CH 3.

17TH ROW: With Pink, 1 DC in CH-1 sp, * sk 2 DC, 1 DC in next sp, CH 1, 1 DC in same sp, rep from * around. Fasten off.

TIES:
With Pink, CH 30 & finish each end with tassels of White.
