FRONT:
Ch 36, 1 sdc in 3rd st from hk [sdc - yo, insert in st, pull lp thru, yo & pull thru all 3 lps at 1 time], * ch 4, sl st in 1st st of ch for picot, sk next st of ch, 1 sdc in each of next 2 sts of ch, rep from * across ch, ch 1, turn.
2nd ROW: 2 sc bet 1st 2 sdc, * ch 1, 2 sc bet next 2 sdc, rep from
* across row, ch 2, turn.
3rd ROW: Sk 1 sc, 1 sdc in next sc, * ch 4, sl st in 4th st of ch
for picot, 1 sdc in each of next 2 sc, rep from * across row, ch 1, turn.
Rep 2nd & 3rd rows for patt.
Work even in patt until fronts meas 10½”, end with 2nd row of
patt, cut yarn.
BACK:
Ch 84 & work in patt for 10½”, same as front, cut yarn.

SLEEVES:
Ch 57 & work in patt for 6½”, cut yarn.

FINISHING:
Sew sleeve seams.

With right side of work toward you, join yarn in center of back

each st, work 3 sc in each corner st, join, cut thread.
With right side of sweater toward you, attach Rayon Crochet at
left neck edge & work 1 sc in each st, 3 sc in each corner st.
Work 10 buttonholes evenly spaced on right front, placing 1st
buttonhole ½” from lower edge & last buttonhole 3½” from top.
BUTTONHOLE:
Work 1 sc, ch 5, 1 sc in same sc.
Work 1 sc, ch 5, 1 sc in same sc.
Sew buttons in position.
Attach yarn in sleeve seam & work 2 sdc in each ch 1 sp, join,
turn.
NEXT 4 ROWS: Ch 2, 1 sdc in each sdc, join each row & turn
each row, cut yarn.
NEXT ROW: Attach Rayon Crochet & work 1 sc in each sdc, join,
cut thread.
CAP:
Ch 87 & work in patt for 8”, cut yarn.
