Sleeveless Lace Tunic & Pants Set #714
So easy to create this
chic openwork pantsuit…you’ll want to quickly
make a second!
SIZES
& MEASUREMENTS:
Top
Measurement at bust line: 30″, 33″, 36″, 39″
Top
is planned for 17″ to underarm, 9 1/2″ in pattern, plus a 7 1/2″ border which
is added later.
Pants
measurement at hip: 30″, 33″, 36″, 39″
Pants
are planned for 30″ from the bottom to the crotch, 22 1/2″ in pattern, plus a 7
1/2″ border which is added later.
GAUGE:

groups of 3 dc, ch 2 = 3″ – 4 rows = 3″
MATERIALS:
Color A – 5, 6, 6, 6 – 4 oz. pull-skeins Knitting Worsted Weight Yarn
Color B – 1 – 4 oz. pull skein Knitting Worsted Weight Yarn
Color C – 1 – 4 oz. pull-skein Knitting Worsted Weight Yarn

TOP:
BODY:
Ch
100, 11 0, 120, 130. Join with sl st to
form a ring, taking care not to twist.
RND
1: Ch 3, 1 DC in each of first 2 ch, * ch 2, sk 2 ch, 1 dc in each of next 3
ch, rep from * around, ending ch 2, sk 2 ch, 1 sl st in top of ch 3.
There
will be 20, 22, 24, 26 groups around.
Piece
will meas 30″, 33″, 36″, 39 “.

2: Ch 3, turn, (work back across row, rather than around, joining at end) 2 dc
under first ch 2 sp, * ch 2, 3 dc under next ch 2 sp, rep from 1 around, ending
ch 2, join with sl st to top of ch 3.

row 2 for patt.
Work
even in patt until piece meas about 9 1/2″.
BACK:
ROW
3: Ch 3, turn, 2 dc under first ch 2 sp, * ch 2, 3 dc under next ch 2 sp, rep from * 7, 8, 9, 10 times.

4: Ch 4, turn, * 3 dc under ch 2 sp, ch 2, rep from * across, ending 1 dc in
top of ch 3.
Rep
rows 3 & 4 until armhole is 9, 10, 10, 11 rows long. End off.
FRONT:
Leaving
out two 3 dc (and one ch 2) groups, attach yarn to next ch 2 sp.
Starting
with Row 3, work even for 6 rows.
