buttonhole: Work 5
sts, bind off next 3 sts, work to end of row.
On
next row cast on 3 sts over those bound off prev row.

even for 3 rows more.
Then dec 1 st each end of needle every row 6 times. Fasten off.
COLLAR:
Cast
on 7 sts.
K
1, p 1 in ribbing & mark beg of next row for inner edge.
Work
even for 2”.
On
next row inc 1 st at inner edge & rep this inc every other row until piece
meas 5”.
Put
marker in work & work even in ribbing until piece meas 4” [4”, 4 ½”, 4 ½”]
above marker.
On
next row dec 1 st at inner edge & rep this dec every other row until 7 sts
rem.
Work
even for 2” Bind off.
FINISHING:
Sew
underarm, shoulder & sleeve seams.
Set
in sleeves.
Sew
on cuffs, hold in to req wrist meas.
Sew
on belt, hold in fullness & have buttonhole of belt in line with
buttonholes of front band.
Sew
shaped edge of collar to neck edge.
With
right side facing you, work 1 row sc around collar, on front edges & around
outer edges of belt.
Steam
seams lightly.
