lining, inserting interlining, [do not stitch seam around flap end of lining].
Insert
lining in bag & tack in place around outer seam.
Turn
flap & lining down over pencil & sew securely.
Work
1 row sc around flap to center, make 2 ½” chain, sl st in last sc made, work sc
closely over chain, sl st in same place as last sl st, cont sc to end of flap.
Cut
cardboard slightly smaller than flap & insert bet outer lining &
buckram, then sew seam around flap of lining.
Sew
lining to crocheted flap.
Roll
handle piece into heavy cord & sl st tog along last row.
Sew
in place. Sew ends tog.
Cover
button mold with sc’s & sew in place.
