FINISHING:
Using crochet side as pattern, cut buckram interlinings to exact size.

Cut gusset buckram 4” shorter than crocheted gusset.

Cut double lining ½” larger all around then buckram.

Cut away buckram interlining of top then cut away about 1” at each end of top edge, thus curving sides of buckram to shape of bag.

Make lining with zipper, inserting heavy cardboard [or plastic] in gusset for reinforcement.

Allowing 2” of crocheted gusset to extend at each side of top, & with gusset facing you, sl st crocheted pieces tog.

Insert lining in bag & attach at all seams.

Insert ends of hook & eye bet sts of extension at ends of gusset, turn ends to inside & fasten securely.

Sew side edges of top to inside of gusset.

ENJOY!
