A clever woman very
quickly & easily will crochet this exquisite opera bag in a delightful
filet pattern…lovely in white & pastels, or sophisticated in black for an
evening bag… it will become a personal favorite to keep or gift to that special

In
this ch lp, make 3 sc, ch 3 & catch back to form picot, 3 more sc in same
lp, * 1 sc in next lp, picot, 3 sc in same lp & rep from * 6 times, add
extra picot & 3 sc in center lp on point.
In final lp make 3 sc, picot, 3 sc.
In small spaces all around work, as follows:

Cover small rings, as follows:

Make
sl st in each ch for entire length.
Cover
large ring with sc.
Draw
cord thru small rings, as illustrated & fasten ends to large ring.
Line
bag with selected material & put pocket on one side of lining.
Stiffen
hem & center of bag with featherbone.
