Quick & easy to crochet this delightful sweater with matching cap, mittens, & booties!

SIZE: 
6 Months to 1 Year. 
Larger sizes may be achieved by increasing size of needles & weight of yarn.

Orlon is worked with # E hook & Star Rayon Crochet is worked with #3 hk.

RIGHT FRONT: 
With yarn, ch 26, sc in 8th st from hk, * ch 2, sk 2 sts of ch, dc in next st, ch 2, sk 2 sts of ch, sc in next st, rep from * twice, ch 3, turn.

2nd Row:  2 Dc in same sp, * sc in next dc, 5 dc (shell) in next sc, rep from * twice, sc in 3rd st of end lp, ch 5, turn.

3rd Row:  * Sc in center of next shell, ch 2, dc in next sc, ch 2, rep from * twice, sk 2 dc, sc in next st, ch 2, trc over side of st just worked in, ch 1, turn.

2nd Row:  Same as 2nd row of back of Sweater.

3rd Row:  Same as 3rd row of back of Sweater. 

Rep last 2 rows 10 times. 

Fold work in half & sew last row tog for back of cap.

TURNBACK: 
With wrong side of work toward you & work along start ch, attach White in 1st st, sc in same sp, * sk 2 sts, 7 dc in next st, sk 2 sts, sc in next st, rep from * across row, cut thread, turn.

Next Row:  Attach yarn in same sp, ch 5 & work same as 3rd row of back of Sweater.

Next Row:  Same as 2nd row of back of Sweater.

Next Row:  Same as 3rd row of back of Sweater, cut yarn.

Next Row:  With White work row of 7 dc shells, cut thread. 

With right side of work toward you, attach yarn in end sc of White row at beg of turnback, work across neck edge, work 1 sc in each row to corresponding row at opposite side, ch 1 to turn all rows.

Next 4 Rows:  1 Sc in each sc, cut yarn.

POMPON:
Wind yarn over ½” cardboard 70 times, tie one end & trim into shape. 

Work another pompon in same manner. 

Sew to sides of cap as illustrated. 

Sew ribbon ties in position.

BOOTIES: 
With yarn, ch 14, 3 sc in 2nd st from hk, 1 sc in each of next 11 sts of ch, 3 sc in end st, work on opposite side of ch, 1 sc in each of next 11 sts, do not join this or following rnds.  Place marker at beg of each rnd.

2nd Rnd:  2 Sc in each of next 3 sc, 1 sc in each of next 11 sc, 2 sc in each of next 3 sc, 1 sc in each of next 11 sc.

MITTENS: 
With yarn, ch 30 (meas about 4 ¾”), join, be careful not to twist ch, ch 1 & work 1 sc in each st. 

Without joining rnds & work in sc, work even until work meas 2” from beg.

Next RND:  1 Sc in each of next 3 sc, dec in next 2 sts (to dec: * insert hk in next st, pull lp thru, rep from * once, yo & work off all lps at one time), rep from beg all around. 

Work 1 rnd even.

Next RND:  Dec 5 sts at intervals. 

Work 1 rnd even.
