Waist: 29"
Hip: 38"
BLOUSE: BACK:
Beg at right shoulder, ch 53
sts.
1ST
ROW: Dc in 8th ch from hook, * ch 2, sk 2 sts, 1 dc in next
st, rep from * across row, end row ch 2, dc in last st. Turn.
[16 mesh].
2ND
ROW: Ch. 5, * sk 1 mesh, 1 trc in next mesh, ch 2, 1 trc in same mesh,
ch 2, 1 trc in same mesh, ch 2, 1 trc in same mesh, ch 2, sk 1 mesh, 1 dc in
next mesh of prev row. Ch 2, rep from * across row, end row, ch 2, 1 dc in last
mesh. Turn. [4 groups of trc]
3RD
ROW: Ch 5, * sk 1 mesh, 1 dc bet 1st & 2nd trc of prev row, ch 2, 1

Rows 1 to 7 inclusive, form
patt.
Row 1 is worked only at the
beg of each piece.
Work Right Shoulder for 7
rows, do not break yarn.
Start new ball of yarn &
work Left Shoulder for 6 rows, then ch 72 for back of neck & fasten with sl
st to 6th row of Right Shoulder, break yarn.
Pick up yarn at Right
Shoulder & cont to work bet stars of row 7, 24 mesh across ch & 16 mesh
to end of row [across Left Shoulder].
Cont in patt [start with Row
2] until work meas 14 ½“ from start.
Work Front of Blouse to
correspond for 15 ½“ from start.
Sew Shoulder seams.
Beginning at waistline sew
underarm seams for 4”.
Work 1 row of sc around
neck.
SLEEVES:
Ch 215 sts. [70 mesh].
Work in patt same as Blouse
for 12 rows.
Fasten off. Sew edges tog.
Beg at underarm seam 4”
above waistline, sew to Blouse, slanting from underarm seam to 1 ¾“ deep at
Shoulder seam.
Gather Shoulder seam toward
Sleeve & hold in fullness with clips, as illustrated.
BELT:
Make a ch 260 sts.
Work in sc around ch. Inc at each end to keep work flat until belt
meas 2 ¼“.
SKIRT:
Make a ch 281 sts, start at
waistline. Join in ring.
Skirt is worked in same
manner as Blouse [92 mesh or 23 groups of trc], but end each row ch 2, sl st in
first mesh of row.
Work in patt for 9 rows.
On next row [row 4 of patt],
inc 1 mesh every 23rd mesh 4 times around row.
On next row & after each
inc row, there will be one more group of trc.
Inc 4 mesh on every 6th row [4th row of patt],
until there are 38 groups of trc across row.
When Skirt measures 32”, end
with trc row.
Sew Skirt to Blouse.
