Using top as a pattern, cut out 2 cardboard pieces & 2 felt pieces.

Line each top with felt, inserting cardboard piece between.

Cut holes in cardboard & felt to correspond with holes in top.

Mark the top center at each side of bag & make inverted pleats on each side of center, making pleats deep enough so that top of bag measures same as long side of top.

Sew pleats in place.

Sew pleated edges to a long side of top.

Cut ribbon into lengths of 31” & 41”.

Draw ribbon through the 4 holes in top, drawing each ribbon from opposite sides.

Tie longer ribbon in a bow.

Sew ends of shorter ribbon together.

ENJOY!
