1951 Vogue Openwork Details on Pullover & Cap Set #B-130
An
updated classic pullover set with an openwork traingle design around the neck
line & bordering the cap. The
sweater has button closures at each shoulder for easy wear.

Minerva
Nylon Sweater & Sock Yarn, 1 oz balls:
PULLOVER: 3 balls
CAP: 1 ball

GAUGE:

Cast on 84 sts.
Work
in k 2, p 2 ribbing for 1”.
Change
to stockinette st.
Work
even until 7” from beg.
SHAPE

Bind off 4 sts at beg of next 2 rows – 76 sts.

Keeping
the 15 strap sts in garter st, work rem sts in k 2, p 2 ribbing for ¾”. Bind off.
Make
buttonloop at end of strap.
Sew
on button.
