SIZE: Completed placemat measures approx 12” x 16”.
MATERIALS:
For
one placemat & napkin ring:
Rug
Yarn, 2 skeins White, 1 each of Yellow & Green

Aluminum Crochet Hook
Large-Eye
Blunt Tapestry Needle
PLACEMAT: With Yellow, ch 48.
1ST
ROW: Sc in second st from hook &
each st across, fasten off, do not turn.
2ND
ROW: Join white in first sc, ch 2, 2 dc
in second st, * sk 1 st, 2 dc in next st, rep from * across, end dc in last st,
drop White, do not turn.
3RD
ROW: With Green, sc in top of ch 2, sc
bet 2 dc, * ch 1, sc bet next 2 dc, rep from * across, end sc in last dc, &
work last part of last sc with White, fasten off, turn.
4TH
ROW: With white, ch 2, * 2 dc in ch 1
sp, rep from * across, end dc in last st, drop white, turn.
5TH
ROW: With Yellow, sc in top of first dc,
* ch 1, sc bet 2 dc, rep from * across, end ch 1, * sc in last st, fasten
off. Do not turn.
6TH
ROW: With White, ch 2, * 2 dc in ch 1 sp,
rep from * across, end dc in last st, drop White. Do not turn.
Rep
3rd thru 6th rows 5 times more, then rep 3rd
thru 5th rows once, do not fasten off Yellow.
EDGING:
With yellow, sc along side edge; sl st across bottom edge working along other side of starting ch; sc up other side & across top, join in first sc, fasten off.
