Free Pattern - Vintage Pansy Pillow to Crochet

Vintage Pansy Pillow
MATERIALS: 
American Thread Co, Aunt Lydia's Heavy Rug Yarn
3 - 70 yd skeins Black 
1 - 70 yd skein each Lavender & Lilac
3 yds each Orange & Yellow 
Plastic Crochet Hook Size H 
Shredded Foam Rubber or Kapok 
½ yd Lining Material

GAUGE:
3 dc = 1" (Pansy)
3 sc = 1 inch (Pillow)
PANSY:
With Lavender ch 8, join to form a ring, * ch 3, 3 dc in ring, ch 3, turn. 
2nd ROW: 2 dc in same sp, 3 dc in each of next 2 dc, 3 dc in top of ch 3, ch 3, turn. 
3rd ROW: 2 dc in same sp, 1 dc in each dc, work 3 dc in turning ch, ch 3, turn. 
4th ROW: Same as last row, but ch 1 to turn. 
5th ROW: 1 sc in each of next 2 sts, 1 sdc in each of next 2 sts (sdc - yo hk, insert in st, pull thru, yo & pull thru all lps at one time), 1 dc in each of next 12 sts, 1 sdc in each of next 2 sts, 1 sc in each of next 2 sts, ch 1, turn. 
Repeat last row twice, sl st down side of petal, sl st into ring, rep from * of 1st row twice, cut Laven­der.
Attach Lilac in ring, ch 3 & work 4 dc in ring, ch 3, turn. 
2nd ROW: 2 dc in same sp, 3 dc in each rem st. 
3rd & 4th ROWS: Same as 3rd row of Lavender petal. 
5th ROW: 1 dc in each st, ch 1, turn. 
6th ROW: 1 sc in each of next 2 sts, 1 sdc in each of next 2 sts, 1 dc in each of next 15 sts, 1 sdc in each of next 2 sts, 1 sc in each of next 2 sts, ch 1, turn. 
Rep last row twice, cut yarn. 
Attach Lilac in ring, & work 1 more petal in same manner, cut yarn. 
Work row of sc around all petals, working Lavender on Lilac petals, & Lilac on 3 Lavender petals. 
With Yellow & Orange embroider Lavender petals as shown in photo, using long & short sts.
PILLOW:
NOTE:
 Work in back lp of sts thru out.
With Black ch 2, 8 sc in 2nd st from hk, do not join this or following rnds. 
Place a marker at beg of each round. 
2nd RND: 2 sc in each sc. 
3rd RND: * Sc in 1st sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from * all around. 
4th RND: Inc 8 sts evenly spaced all around, but do not work inc over inc of prev rnd. 
Rep 4th rnd until there are 12 inc rnds. 
Then work even until section meas 14", cut yarn. 
Work another section in same manner.
LINING: Cut 2 sectio, allow about  ½" all around for seams. 
Seam allow opening for filling. 
Fill with shredded foam rubber. 
Sew opening closed.
FINISHING: Weave pillow sec­tions tog in back lp of sts all around, leave an opening.
Insert lining in pillow & sew opening closed. 
Tack petals in position, have 2 Lilac petals at top.
