Free Pattern - Vintage Daisy Pillow to Crochet

Vintage Daisy Pillow
SIZE:
Approximately 14½" in diameter
MATERIALS:
American Thread Co, Aunt Lydia's Heavy Rug Yarn

4 - 70 yds skeins White

1 - 70 yds skein Orange 
Aluminum Crochet Hook Size H
½ yd. Lining Material 
Shredded Foam Rubber or Kapok

GAUGE:
5 sts & 4 rows = 2"
CENTER: With Orange ch 2, 8 sc in 2nd st from hk. 
2nd RND: Ch 3, sl st in front lp of next sc, rep from beg 7 times (8 lps). 
3rd RND: 2 sc in back lp of each sc (16 sc). 
4th RND: Rep 2nd rd, (16 lps), cut yarn. 
5th RND: At­tach White, work in back lp of sts, ch 3, dc in same st, * ch 1, 2 dc in next st, rep from * to end of rnd, ch 1, join in top of ch 3 (16 shells). 
6th RND: Ch 4, 1 dc bet ch 3 & dc of 1st shell, * 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc be­t 2 dc of next shell, rep from * to end of rnd, join to corres. 
7th RND: SL st to ch 1 sp, ch 3, 1 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in same sp of 1st shell, * 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in ch 1 sp of next shell, rep from * to end of rnd, join to corres. 
8th & 9th RNDS: SL st to ch 1 sp, ch 3, 1 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in ch 1 sp, * ch 1, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in next ch 1 sp, rep from * to end of rnd, ch 1, join. 
10th RND: SL st to ch 1 sp, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch 1 sp, * 3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc in center of next shell, rep from * to end of rnd, join. 
11th RND: SL st to ch 1 sp, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc in same sp, ch 1, * 3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc in center of next shell, ch 1, re­p from * to end of rnd, join. 
12th RND: SL st to ch 1 sp, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in same sp, * ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in center of next shell, rep from * to end of rnd, ch 2, join, cut yarn.
Attach 2 strands White in 1st dc of any shell, * sl st in back lp of each st across top of shell, ch 1, sl st under each prev row bet shells, work ch 1 bet each sl st down to 4th rnd of center ch 1, join in base of 1st shell rnd, turn. 
Ch 1, sl st, ch 1 in same rnds to top, rep from * to end of rnd, join, cut yarn. 
The ch 1, sl st under each rnd forms ridge bet petals.
BACK:
With White work 1 section same as pillow section of Pansy
Finish same as Pansy Pillow.

POMPOM: Wind Orange 50 times over 4" cardboard, tie in center, cut & trim. 
Sew in place to center.
