MATERIALS:
Puritan Mercerized Crochet Cotton 1 – 250 yd ball each White, Buttercup & Forest Green
Steel Crochet Hook #5
2 Snap Fasteners
1 Pair Flat Earrings OR Earring Backs
Spray Starch & Glue

Each flower measures 1 ½”.
FLOWER:
1ST RND: With white ch 8, join in 1st st of ch, sl st in ring, * 1 dc, 1 trc, 1 d trc, 1 tr trc [4 times over hk], 1 d trc, 1 trc, 1 dc, sl st in ring, rep from * 4 times [5 petals].
1ST RND: With white ch 8, join in 1st st of ch, sl st in ring, * 1 dc, 1 trc, 1 d trc, 1 tr trc [4 times over hk], 1 d trc, 1 trc, 1 dc, sl st in ring, rep from * 4 times [5 petals].
2ND RND:
* Ch 1, 1 sc in each of next 3 sts, ch 1, 1 sdc, ch 1, 1 sc in center
st, [sdc: yoh, insert in st, yo & work off all lps at 1 time] ch 1, 1 sc in
each rem st of petal, sk sl st, rep from * all around, join.
3RD RND:
* Ch 2, sl st bet petals, rep from * all around, cut thread.
4TH RND:
Attach Buttercup in any ch 2 lp, 2 sc, ch 3, 2 sc over each ch 2 lp,
join, cut thread.
NECKLACE:
Work 15 flowers.
Work 15 flowers.
With Forest Green * ch 4, dc in 1st ch [rice
st], rep from * 5 times, pick up 1 flower & attach to wrong side at base of
any petal as follows: insert hk & sl
st thru 3 center sts, work 1 rice st, sk next petal to right of joining, sl st
in base of next petal as before working sl st thru 3 center sts, work 2 rice
sts, & join rem 14 flowers in same manner, work 6 rice sts; work on other
side of rice sts, * ch 4, sl st at base of rice st, rep from * across all rice
sts, cut thread.
Finish each end with snap fastener.
BRACELET:
Work 7 flowers.
Work 7 flowers.
Work same as necklace, but work 1 rice st before 1st
flower, 1 rice st bet each flower & 1 rice st after each flower.
Sew snap fastener at each end.
EARRINGS:
Work 2 flowers.
Work 2 flowers.
Glue in place over flat earring, or use earring backs.
FINISHING:
Pin flowers out & spray several times with spray starch.
