FRONT NECKBAND:
With RS facing, use #9 needles & MC dbl, k up 17 [18] sts along left side of neck, rib across sts from st holder, k up 17 [18] sts along RS of neck 49 [53] sts.

Work 6 more rows in rib.

FINISHING:
Use back st, join side & sleeve seams & shoulder seams for ½”.

across back of shoulder openings.
Work 4 rows g-st for underlap. Cast off.

Sew underlaps in place.
Sew on buttons.
With Ws facing, use 1 ball each MC & CC, work 1 row DC
around lower edge of dress.
Sew hem facing on WS.
Press seams.
