14 - 16


MATERIALS:
American Thread Company De Luxe Mercerized Crochet Cotton, 8 Balls
3 yds Ribbon
Steel Crochet Hook #7


YOKE:
Ch 154, DC in 4th st from hk, * ch 1, sk 1 st, DC in next st, rep from * to end of ch.

2ND ROW: Sl st across 4 M, ch 4, DC in next M, * ch 1, DC in next M, rep from * to within 4 M of end of row, ch 4, turn, (ch 4 at beg of each M row).

3RD - 27TH ROWS: Work 1 M in each M.

28TH ROW: Work 24 M, ch 40, turn, DC in 4th st from hk, * ch 1, sk 1 st, DC in next st, rep from * to end of ch & work M in each M, this begs 
RIGHT FRONT YOKE.

30TH - 53RD ROWS: Work even M. 

54TH ROW: Ch 12, turn, DC in 4th st from hk, work 1 ch M on ch & cont M to end of row, break thread.


NEXT ROW: Work other front to corres, do not break thread.

NEXT ROW: Join underarm M & work beading, ch 3, 1 TRC in M & next DC, * ch 3, sk 2 M, 1 TRC in next DC, M & DC, rep from * across row. Ch 1, turn.

NEXT ROW:  Work 1 SC in each TRC & 3 SC over each ch 3.

NEXT ROW: start half knot st.
Ch 3, DC in next SC * half knot st, (pull up ¼” lp on hk, yo & pull thru, SC into single strand of lp).

1 DC in each of next 2 SC, half knot st, sk 1 SC, 1 DC in each of next 2 SC, rep from * across row, ch 3, turn.

2ND ROW: DC in DC, * half knot st, 1 DC in each of next 2 DC, rep from * across row & rep 2nd row until knot st part of jacket meas 12”.


SLEEVES:
Ch 34, DC in 4th st from hk, * half knot st, 1 DC in each of next 2 sts, rep from * across row.


NEXT ROW: Ch 3, turn & work 1 row even.

NEXT 16 ROWS: Inc 1 patt at end of each row as follows, work 2 DC in 1st DC at end of row, half knot st, 2 DC in last DC. 

At end of last row, ch 8, break thread. 

NEXT ROW: Join thread at opposite end, ch 10, turn, DC in 4th st from hk, half knot st, sk 2 sts, 1 DC in each of next 2 sts, half knot st, 1 DC in each of next 2 DC, cont patt across row & work 2 patts on ch.


NEXT ROWS: Ch 3 turn & cont rows of patt until sleeve meas 9” from underarm.

SEW SEAMS:
Work 1 SC in each DC & 1 SC over 2 long lps of knot st.


BEADING:
Ch 3, 1 TRC in each of 2 SC, * ch 3, sk 3 SC, 1 TRC in each of next 3 SC, rep from * all around. 

NEXT ROW: Work 1 SC in each TRC & 3 SC over each ch 3. 

NEXT ROW: * ch 12, sk 1 SC, SC in next SC, rep from * all around, end last lp in 1st lp & work 6 more rows of 12 ch lps.

Join thread at lower edge of yoke & work row of SC all around jacket, ease in back of neck to 5”. 

At lower edge work 1 SC in each DC & 2 SC in each knot st.

RUFFLE:
Beg at lower edge of yoke * ch 12, sk 1 SC, SC in next SC, rep from * all around yoke & neck, in corners do not sk 1 SC.

2ND ROW: Ch 12, turn, SC in next lp, * ch 12, SC in next lp, rep from * all around & rep 2nd row twice. 

Finish knot st section of jacket as follows:

Join thread at lower edge of yoke, 1 SC in each of 1st 4 SC, * ch 4, sl st in top of last SC made for P, 1 SC in each of next 4 SC, rep from * all around. 

Finish with ribbon as shown.
