Ch
65 approx 7”, [59, 71], 3 dc in 4th st from hk, 2 dc in next st, 1
dc in each of next 58 sts of ch [52, 64], 2 dc in next st, 3 dc in last st,
working on other side of ch, 2 dc in next st, 1 dc in each of next 58 sts, [52,
64], 2 dc in next st, join in 1st dc.
2ND
ROW: Ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, 2 dc in each
of next 5 sts, 1 dc in each of next 58 sts, [52, 64] 2 dc in each of next 7
sts, 1 dc in each of next 58 sts, [52, 64], 2 dc in next st, join in 1st

join to 1st dc.
6TH
& 7TH ROWS: Ch 1, &
work 1 sc in each st, break thread.
Insert
inner soles bet crocheted sections & sew tog.
Upper
section is worked in star st: pick up
& pull lp thru 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th
st from needle, leaving all lps on needle, yo & pull thru all lps on
needle, ch 1.
Ch
1 is termed Eye of Star st.
All
straps are worked in same manner.
TOE
STRAP:
Ch
9 & work 3 star sts on ch, ch 1 * pick up & pull thru eye of st just
made, side lp of star st, next 2 sts of ch, yo & pull thru all lps on
needle, ch 1, rep from *.
2ND
ROW: Ch 3, pick up 2nd * 1st
st of ch, side of star st, eye of next star st, yo & pull thru all lps on
needle, ch 1, * pick up eye of star, side of star st just made, top of star in
prev row, eye of next star in prev row, yo & pull thru all lps on needle,
ch 1, rep from * until strap is 4” long, break thread.
Work
2 more toe straps, one strap meas 4 ½” & other meas 5”.
HEEL
STRAPS:
Work
3 straps 4” long.
CENTER
TOE STRAP:
Work
7” long.
ANKLE
STRAP:

½” long, then work buttonhole, work 6 sc over one end of strap, ch 6, turn, sk
5 sc, sc in next sc, ch 3, turn, & work 3 star sts on ch 6, then work 1 rows
of sc all around, break thread.
FINISHING:
Sew
4” toe strap to sole, starting 1 ½” from center of toe, sew other side of strap
to sole to correspond.
Sew
4 ½” strap to sole in same manner, sewing it approx ½” from 1st
strap.
Sew
5” strap to sole ½” from 2nd strap.
Sew
center toe strap to sole at center of toe.
Sew
4” toe strap to center toe strap, starting 2” from tie; sew other 2 toe straps
to center strap, starting 4 ½” strap approx ¼” from 1st strap &
5” strap approx ½” from 2nd strap, then turn under 1 ½” lp at top of
center toe strap & sew it in position.
Turn
heel straps back to form 1 ½” lp & sew 1 heel strap to sole at center of
heel, then sew other 2 heel straps at each side approx 2” from center.
Run
ankle strap thru lps of 3 heel straps & lp of center toe strap.
Trim
with sequins as shown ion photo.
Sew
button in position on ankle strap.
